Friends of Burnt ash
Friends of Burnt Ash (FOBA) provides close links between home and school. It is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together in support of the school.
Friends of Burnt Ash has raised thousands of pounds for school improvements and education activities including:
New staging and lighting in the main school hall
Funding new IT equipment and dictionaries for every class room
Subsidising the annual Year 6 Isle of Wight trip
Helping to fund the whole school trip
Providing gifts for the children to purchase for Mother’s and Father’s day every year
Providing Easter treats for all children
We raise these funds through events such as:
School calendar sales
Not all of our events are run as fundraisers. Our leavers disco for Year 6 and Uncle Mac show for the Foundation Stage children are run with the aim of giving the children a good time and as a way of thanking families for their continued support of the school and Friends of Burnt Ash.
We send regular newsletters via the children’s book bags giving information on forthcoming events and dates, plus requests for assistance for when we are planning large events.
How you can get involved
By attending our regular meetings or offering to help at events, your support will make a huge contribution.
Please contact the school office or click on the newsletter link above for more information.
